Nothing more goes in the tin. We never ask for your real name, address, date of birth, phone number or any payment detail; there is nothing on the hill to buy. Your password is kept solely as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you requested). Deleting your account removes every part of it at once, using the button on your account page.

All of this lives on your device; none of it is sent to us.

Google tags, only after you agree

Choose ‘Accept all’ and we run Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and to see whether our adverts lead to play, such as a first spin. Google then receives your IP address, device information and those events. Choose ‘Essential only’ and the same tags run in consent mode with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.

Request logs at the host’s shed

For security, our host keeps ordinary request logs for a brief period. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Things the tea house never does

• We never hold payment data, because the hill sells nothing.
• Marketing email never reaches you from the tea house unless you ask.
• We never sell or rent your data to anyone at all.
• Gambling operators get nothing from the leaf ledger, and the hill carries no gambling affiliate links.

Your rights over the leaf ledger

Whenever you like, you may access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent. Pressing delete on the account page wipes the account data on the spot; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes what is left. Complaints may be taken to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
